Merry Christmas from the Nelson Family!!

Ok, you caught me!

Eli has been working on picking things up and holding them for a while, but mamma and deddy never expected this so soon. I guess he was really thirsty and just had to show that he could hold his own cup of milk. Still, he would rather mamma and deddy wait on him hand and foot.

I can almost do it by myself...

Deddy still has to help me sit up, but I'll be able to do it by myself soon.....or fall over trying!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We were blessed to have 3 of the 4 babies born on Candi's side of the family at Thanksgiving dinner this year. From left to right are Mark, Tara, Rebecca, Candi, Brad, Eli, Taylor, Bailey, and Lindy. We missed Stef, Anthony, Dalton, and Clayton, but hope to see them at Christmas!

Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy......

Eli enjoys his RainForest Jumperoo so much!! He is either bouncing up a storm or trying to put every toy on it into his mouth. Sometimes he gets a little worn out from all the fun....

Halloween at Tannehill

Eli and Mama went to Tannehill to the Annual Halloween Celebration. Uncle Craig took some time out from passing out candy to pose with us.

Eli got his first taste of trick or treating. Pappy had the honor of filling Eli's little pumpkin before setting off throughout the campground.

After getting all strapped in his wheels, Eli was set to go trick or treating. He and Pappy had a great time strolling through the park. Eli got a little frustrated because he was ready for some serious candy getting but he kept getting stopped by other trick or treaters because they wanted to take his picture. After about 30 minutes, he gave up and went to sleep.

South Highland's Fall Festival

Eli went to his first Fall Festival at school. Mama and Deddy had so much fun bidding in the silent auctions for the class art project and Eli had tons of fun posing with his teachers and watching all of the kids run around. He sure can't wait for next years party.

Eli is posing with Ms. Ruthia above. He loves her kisses.

To the left, Eli is posing with Ms. Vette. She greets him every morning with the biggest smile. Eli can hardly wait to get into her arms.

Eli had to take some time out from the fun to pose with Mama and Deddy!

Eli's Wet Trip to Aldridge Gardens

We went on an outing to Aldridge Gardens to see the Halloween statues displays. We were having lots of fun and then the rain came...

Feed Me Now!!!

Eli doesn't give much warning when he is ready to eat. So for those of you who say you've never seen him cry; here you go. He has vocal cords and he knows how to use them!

Just a quick pose

Eli is taking a little bit of time out from playing with Mom for a quick picture. Whenever he see the camera these days, he stops smiling and just stares. It is too cute.

Eli and Deddy watching the Auburn Game

Eli and Deddy are bonding while watching the Auburn-LSU game. Unfortunately, the two Auburn fans weren't too happy with the end results but they sure had a lot of fun cheering on the team.

Eli's trip to Tannehill

Eli loves to stroll around Tannehill
State Park. He especially likes all of the attention he gets from the regular campers.

I look GRRRREAT!!!!!!

Bath time is Eli's new favorite thing. He thinks it is hilarious to splash water all of the kitchen and use his personal sprinkler to water the potted plants.

Who Me? I didn't do it!!!

I wonder what Eli is up to? He looks a little guilty!

Taking it Easy

Just a cute picture!

Eli loves to sleep in his swing with his security blanket. Isn't he cute?

Eli goes to the Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday, we met our friends Kim, Jeremy,
and Madi at the Pumpkin Patch in Hadyn.
Eli is dressing as "Scruffy the Puppy" for his first Halloween. Kim could hardly make pictures for all of the people standing around watching. Eli is growing so big, so fast. It is amazing.

Eli was not too happy about the whole experience of having pictures made at the Pumpkin Patch. We started off on a bad foot because he was woken up from his nap. Sleep is very important to Eli, and he does not like anyone to interfere with his schedule (sounds kind of like his mom). The next shock came when he quickly realized that hay is very sticky and does not feel good on such delicate little skin. After a little bit of TLC, Eli decided he would smile just a little bit. Kim was able to capture one of those rare moments.

My latest pics...and some exciting news

To the left is Eli wearing his "Bobo" outfit and playing in his bouncer. To the right is Eli in his warm PJs following a cold morning. He actually rolled over after this picture was taken. We wished we had the video camera instead!!

Yuck!

Eli gave this rice cereal stuff a try, but couldn't figure out the spoon thingie. Also, after a few days of irregularity and a visit to the doctor, he decided, along with mamma and deddy, to try this cereal stuff a little later!

I can sit in a chair!!!

Look at how well Eli can sit in his Bumbo!

He can hardly believe it himself, so he

is praying that he doesn't fall out!!!!

Hello!!

Look how big our baby is getting, holding that head up so high and looking directly at the camera

Eli and Friends

Sometimes Eli does not go to sleep right away. So with a little help from his friends, Bunny Raddit and Bobo, he'll sometimes drift away.

Trying to Blow Bubbles

Mama sure loves to pose with Eli, who was in the middle of blowing a few bubbles and catching a little TV. But since he has fans and he doesn't want to disappoint, he graciously faces the camera this time for a tender mama to son photo. Isn't he precious?!
